The Domestic Abuse Councillor Network

The Domestic Abuse Councillor Network

The Domestic Abuse Councillor Network is a new opportunity for councillors, local government officers and Police and Crime Commissioners with an interest in ending domestic abuse, misogyny and violence against women and girls.

As a member of our network, you will receive bespoke support from Women’s Aid on how to improve services for survivors in your area. This will include tailored newsletters containing policy updates, good practice examples, support offers and invitations to exclusive networking events.

You will also be able to connect with colleagues in different areas to learn and share knowledge in a supportive environment.

Although the network is primarily made up of councillors, we also encourage colleagues working in local government and Police and Crime Commissioners to join.

If you have any questions or ideas for the network, or if you need support with an issue in your local area, please email councillorengagement@womensaid.org.uk
